Donna Bostwicks Turkey noodle soup

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Noodle Soup

4 quarts Chicken stock
2 cups fat free half and half
4 cups egg noodles
3 bacon
1/3 cup butter
1 cup flour
3 onions
4 carrots
3 celery stalks
16 oz turkey

Recipe Directions for Turkey Noodle Soup

  1. Boil turkey carcass in 4 quarts water for 1 hour

  2. Saute diced onions, carrots and celery in butter until soft

  3. Add flour and mix until covered.

  4. Add 1 quart turkey stock and bring to a boil.

  5. Add 1/2 and 1/2, egg noodles, remaining chicken stock, chicken broth granules, and salt and pepper to taste as well as turkey.

  6. Simmer for 30-35 min
