Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Noodle Soup

1 medium onion
2 medium carrots
2 celery stalks
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp light margarine
8 cups chicken broth
2 1/2 cups turkey meat
1/2 cup whole wheat macaroni
1 tsp sage
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Turkey Noodle Soup

  1. Melt margarine with olive oil over medium heat

  2. Add onion, celery, and carrots. Cook until soft and translucent.

  3. Add sage, pepper, thyme, and salt. Stir

  4. Add chicken broth and turkey. Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.

  5. Add macaroni. Cook for 10 minutes more until pasta is tender.
