Spaghetti bolognese made with lean turkey mince

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey mince spaghetti bolognese

250 g turkey, mince
400 g tomatoes, chopped
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 onion
1 carrot
1 tsp oregano, dried
1 tsp basil, dried
1 tbsp oil, vegetable

Recipe Directions for Turkey mince spaghetti bolognese

  1. Chop onion (and garlic if you add) and place into pan with oil. Fry for a few minutes until soft.

  2. Add carrot chopped.

  3. Add mince and fry until cooked.

  4. Add tomato puree, stir well, then add the tomatoes and dried herbs. Cook until flavours hav been soaked up by the sauce.
