Simple, Italian flavored meatloaf for a weeknight delight!

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Meatloaf

20 oz Everyday Turkey
1 1tsp Olive Oil
1 cup, chopped Onions
1 medium raw Bell Pepper Green
3 egg white
6 oz Tomato Paste
1 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Oregano
1 tbsp Sage, Ground
1 teaspoon Thyme
10 piece (3-3/4" x 1-3/4" x 1/8") Crackers, Melba Toast, Plain
8 oz Tomato Sauce
4 tbsp Grated Romano Cheese

Recipe Directions for Turkey Meatloaf

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. In a medium pan, sauté onions and bell peppers in olive oil until peppers are tender.

  3. Whisk together tomato paste, egg whites, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, sage, and thyme in a large mixing bowl.

  4. Place melba toast in a food processor or blender until ˝ cups crumbs are rendered.

  5. Add melba toast crumbs, onions, and bell peppers to the tomato egg mixture. Add turkey and fold together using your hands.

  6. Make a loaf in a 9x11 baking dish ensuring that the loaf has a 1-2 inch boarder from the sides of the pan.

  7. Bake for 1 ˝ hours. Remove from oven. Drain any fat in the bottom of the pan. Top with tomato sauce. Sprinkle with Romano cheese. Bake an additional 10 minutes
