Good sub for ground beef. Oven 350 F

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Meatloaf

3/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup 2% milk
1 medium onion
2 pounds ground turkey breast
1/2 cup red bell pepper
2 eggs
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 tsp salt
8 oz tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Turkey Meatloaf

  1. Stir together the oats and milk, let stand.

  2. Thinly slice 1/4 of the onion and set aside.

  3. Finely chop the remaining onion.

  4. Combine turkey, oat mixture, chopped onion, bell pepper, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper if desired.

  5. Mix until well combined.

  6. Put into 9/13 baking dish and shape into a loaf. Pour the tomato sauce over the loaf and top with the sliced onion.

  7. Bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees F.

  8. Meat thermometer should come to 160F in center of loaf.
