A Lean Version of a Classic Dinner

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Meatloaf

4 lbs lean ground turkey
1 red pepper
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup egg beaters
3 stalks celery
1 red onion
3 tbs lemon pepper
1 tbs soya sauce, low sodium
1 tbs ground black pepper

Recipe Directions for Turkey Meatloaf

  1. Puree red pepper, celery, onion, spices and soya sauce in food processor until almost a puree.

  2. Add egg beaters, bread crumbs and vegetable puree to ground turkey, and mix very well.

  3. Mould into a loaf shape and bake in a 350deg oven for an hour or unitl the internal temperature reaches 170deg.

  4. Remvoe from oven and let rest for at least 15 minutes.

  5. Slice and serve.
