Turkey meatballs in tomato sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Meatballs & Spicy Tomato Sauce

4 oz lean ground turkey 99%
1 medium tomato
4 oz tomato sauce no salt added
1/4 cup mushroom
1/4 cup onions
1/4 cup Frozen Bell Peppers
3 tsp Perfect Pinch Seasoning Italian
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp Red Pepper
5 leaf spinach
1 tsp shredded parmesan cheese
1 slice Flatbread (Wasa thin and crispy rosemary)

Recipe Directions for Turkey Meatballs & Spicy Tomato Sauce

  1. Juice 1 medium tomato and blend with 4oz can of tomato sauce (no salt added). In small boiler, add tomato, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, italian season, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red peppers. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 min.

  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease baking pan with olive oil spray.

  3. In bowl mix 4 oz lean ground turkey with 1 tsp italian season. Palm roll turkey into small meatballs (aprox. 10-12 balls). Place in oven and bake about 15 min. (turn balls over after seven minutes).

  4. Add tomato sauce to bowl, add meatballs and garnish with shredded Parmesan cheese and shredded spinach.
