Recipe Ingredients for turkey meatballs italian-style

1 slice whole wheat bread
2 tablespoons skim milk
1 pound turkey, ground
1/3 cup onion minced
3 tablespoons green bell pepper, minced
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe Directions for turkey meatballs italian-style

  1. in a medium bowl, soak bread in milk until sofened. Mash into a paste. Add turkey , onion, bell pepper, garlic, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Mix with your hands to blend well. Form into 8 balls.

  2. On a plate, season flour w/ additional salt and pepper. roll tukey balls to coat.

  3. heat oil in a large non-stick skillet. Add meatballs and cook over medium heat, turning until browned and crusty and cooked all the way through, 15 to 20 minutes.
