Instead of Beef Stroganoff, I used ground turkey. Hope you enjoy.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Meatball Stroganoff

1 lb Fresh Ground Turkey
1 medium onion chopped
1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
1 Egg, Whole
1 cup Beef Broth
1 1/2 cup raw Mushrooms
8 oz Sour Cream Reduced Fat
2 tbsp All Purpose Flour
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 cup Whole Milk
4 cups Wide Egg Noodles

Recipe Directions for Turkey Meatball Stroganoff

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, onion, bread crumbs, and egg. Mixed together. Form small balls and place on a plate.

  2. Heat large skillet on medium with a tsp of oil. Add meatballs. Cook on each side approx 3 minutes. Saute mushrooms once meatballs have been cooking around 5 minutes.

  3. In the same skillet, combine meatballs, broth, and mushrooms. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes.

  4. In a small bowl, stir together sour cream and flour. Whisk in milk and mustard. Stir sour cream mixture into skillet. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minute more. Serve over hot cooked noodles. If desired, stir in snipped fresh parsley. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
