Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Lentil Soup

100 g tomato paste
200 g Turkey Salami
4 c water
1/2 c lentil, dry
1 large onion
1 large carrot
1/4 t cumin
1/4 t cayenne
1/4 t garlic
1/4 t ginger
1 t oil

Recipe Directions for Turkey Lentil Soup

  1. Cut vegetables and meat into small even pieces.

  2. Saute onions using the oil, until transparent.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients, except meat, and bring to a full boil. Reduce heat and let cook, covered, until lentils are tender.

  4. Add meat, adjust seasonings to taste and then return to a boil.

  5. Serve with your choice of starch.
