Great filling soup. Read directions for exact ingredients, they differ from the ones listed because that is what I had to enter to obtain correct calorie counts.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Lasagna Soup

7 turkey sausage links
1/2 pound cooked ground turkey
1 cup onions
1 cup carrots
3 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons basil
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
4 cups chicken broth
26 ounces diced tomatoes

1 cup macaroni, uncooked
4 cups raw spinach

Recipe Directions for Turkey Lasagna Soup

  1. Use 2 large turkey sausage links (out of the casing) and 1 pound raw turkey and saute in pan until done, breaking into smaller pieces as it cooks. Drain.

  3. Stir in garlic and spices.

  4. Add broth and canned tomatoes (do not drain first).

  5. Add 1 cup spaghetti sauce (I used Hunts 4 cheese).

  6. Bring to boil, then add pasta.

  7. Simmer for 15 minutes.

  8. Add bag of baby spinach.

  9. Sprinkle with cheese before serving.

  10. Can freeze.
