Turkey Lasagna Recipe

Yummy and Healthy Lasagna dish that the kids will love too!

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Lasagna

2 lbs ground Turkey
1 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (grape seed oil)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup tomato soup
1 cup uncooked noodles (4 no boil - lasagna noodles)
4 medium carrots (chopped)
2 medium turnips (parsnips or root vegetable)
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 cup low fat cheese (shredded mozerella)

Recipe Directions for Turkey Lasagna

  1. brown the onions and vegetables

  2. add seasonings

  3. add the ground turkey and simmer for about 20 minutes

  4. add tomato soup

  5. simmer

  6. in a 8" x 8" baking dish layer the turkey

  7. add a layer of lasagna noodles (no boil)

  8. add a layer of shredded cheese

  9. repeat

  10. bake in pre-heated oven at 350degrees for 1 hour

  11. (I put this in the oven before picking the kids up at school and use the timer...)
