Turkey Lasagna Recipe

Pretty much what the name says: lasagna made with ground turkey and spinach. A whole meal in one pan!

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Lasagna

1 pound ground turkey
1 tbl garlic salt
30 oz spaghetti sauce
8 ounces whole wheat lasagna noodles
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon pepper
16 oz part-skim ricotta cheese
10 oz frozen chopped spinach
16 oz part-skim mozzarella cheese
6 slices american cheese

Recipe Directions for Turkey Lasagna

  1. Pre-heat over to 350.

  2. Brown ground turkey and add garlic salt for seasoning.

  3. Once meat is brown, add sauce.

  4. Noodles should be boiled in water with a bit of salt and oil for 15-20 minutes. Don't overcook or noodles will break when layering.

  5. Mix eggs, pepper, ricotta cheese and spinach together.

  6. Assemble in 13x9 pan.

  7. Make a thin layer of meat and sauce. Then a layer of noodles (each noodle overlapping a bit). Add meat and sauce again. followed by another layer of noodles.

  8. Add layer of egg/cheese/spinach mixture. Top with American cheese slices, followed by a thin layer of mozzarella cheese.

  9. Add layer of noodles and remainder of meat/sauce and mozzarella cheese.

  10. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
