Recipe Ingredients for Turkey-Jasmine Rice Meatballs

1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
0.33 cup Mahatma Jasmine Enriched Thai Fragrant Long Grain Rice
1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
1/4 cup, chopped Onions, Spring Or Scallions
2 large Egg, White
1 []
3/4 tsp Kosher Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper, Black
8 oz Chicken, ground, raw
8 oz Lean Turkey Italian Sausage
2 large Egg, White
1 clove Garlic
2 1tsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1/4 cup, chopped Onions, Spring Or Scallions
3 tsp Ginger Root
1 clove Garlic
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
3/4 cup Natural Goodness Chicken Broth
3 serving Soy Sauce
1 1/2 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1 1/2 tsp Red Pepper
1 oz Sherry

Recipe Directions for Turkey-Jasmine Rice Meatballs

  1. Bring 1 cup water to a boil, stir in rice, reduce heat & simmer 15 min. Drain;cool.

  2. Combine rice, breadcrumbs, & next 8 ingredients & shape into 18 balls.

  3. Cook meatballs in large skillet coated with cooking spray 5 min, browning on all sides.

  4. Cover & reduce heat to med; cook 10 min, turning often.

  5. Remove from heat.

  6. To make sauce: heat oil in saucepan over med-high heat. Add 1/4 cup onions, grated ginger & 1 minced garlic clove; saute 30 seconds.

  7. Combine water & next 4 ingredients & add to pan. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat & simmer 20 minutes.

  8. Combine sherry & cornstarch, add to pan.

  9. Bring to boil; cook 1 min or till slightly thick.
