Quick and easy leftover turkey casserole

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey and Dressing casserole - Betty Crocker cookbook

3 cups dried bread, cubed
1 1/2 cup water
4 tbsp butter
2 cups turkey, cooked and chopped
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup celery, chopped
10 oz peas
1/2 tsp mace
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk

Recipe Directions for Turkey and Dressing casserole - Betty Crocker cookbook

  1. Boil water and butter and add bread cubes to make dressing. Line bottom of 8 x 12 cake pan with dressing.

  2. In the meantime cook peas, onions and celery. Mix flour and milk to make a white sauce. Boil for one minute. Add seasonings, cooked peas, onions, celery and turkey. Heat through and pour over dressing.

  3. Bake in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes.
