Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Chili with Roasted Corn

1 pound lean ground turkey
1 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup corn (roasted)
2 cups water
28 ounce crushed tomatoes
16 ounce kidney beans, drained, rinsed and mashed
1 tablespoons garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe Directions for Turkey Chili with Roasted Corn

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Place turkey in pot and cook until evenly brown. Stir in onion and cook until tender

  2. Pour water into pot, mix in tomatoes, kidney beans, roasted corn and garlic. Add all seasonings and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 30 minutes

  3. (One serving is equal to approximately 10oz or 1 and 1/4 cup)
