Turkey Chili with kidney and pinto beans

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Chili

5 cups kidney beans
5 cups pinto beans
8 cups stewed tomatoes
3 cups diced tomatoes
1/3 cup tomato paste
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
1 green pepper, 1/4 inch dice
1 onion, 1/4 inch dice
1 medium carrot, shredded
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoon canola oil
1/3 cup chili powder
4 teaspoons cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper, ground

Recipe Directions for Turkey Chili

  1. Brown ground turkey, drain grease.

  2. Add canola oil,onion, green pepper, carrot and saute until tender. Add garlic and saute another minute.

  3. Add beans, tomatoes, and tomato paste. Stir and add spices. Cook 10-15 minutes more.

  4. 1/2 cup serving.
