16 oz Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added

1 tbsp Onion Powder
2 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Turkey Chili

  1. Open all cans, rinse all beans. Drain juice from Jalapeno Tomatoes.

  2. Brown turkey in frying pan with onion and garlic powder. Grease will separate from meat. Turn heat off when done and let meat set.

  3. Add all beans, turkey broth to large pot.

  4. Using a spatula or slotted spoon, add turkey to pot.

  5. Add (drained) jalapeno tomatoes, (un-drained) diced tomatoes, tomato paste to pot.

  6. Bring all ingredients to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring. Reduce to simmer for 10 minutes.

  7. You may eat immediately, although soup is better if you allow to simmer for an additional 30 minutes.

  8. Cool any left-over chili rapidly. May be frozen if desired.
