Each serving is a hefty 2 cups. One cup is only 222 calories, but who can stop with one cup? A very colorful chili. If desired, brown meat and vegetables, then throw everything into the crockpot.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Chili

1 pound ground turkey
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 yellow bell pepper
1/2 orange bell pepper
1 medium onion, chopped
19 ounces black beans, 1 can with liquid
28 ounces tomatoes, diced with liquid
15 ounce corn, 1 can whole kernel with liquid
1 t. cumin, ground
1 t. chili powder
1 t. cinnamon
1 pinch of red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for Turkey Chili

  1. Brown ground turkey with onions and peppers.

  2. Mix in beans, tomatoes and corn.

  3. Season with cumin, chili powder, pepper flakes and cinnamon.

  4. Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.
