Simple turkey chili cooked in a crock pot. Next time I would add more tomato sauce, this came out a bit dry for my tastes.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Chili

3 lbs ground turkey
3/4 c kidney beans, cooked
3/4 c black beans, cooked
1 c onion, sliced
14 1/2 oz tomato, diced (canned)
15 oz tomato sauce
2 tsp salt
3 tbsp garlic, crushed
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp cilantro, dry

Recipe Directions for Turkey Chili

  1. Rinse and soak beans (boil for a few minutes, allow 1 hour to soak, then drain and rinse)

  2. Brown ground turkey

  3. add remaining ingredients to crock pot. Cook on low 6-8 hrs.
