very low fat, low sodium, high flavor chili

Recipe Ingredients for turkey chili

1 pound of ground turkey breast
1 medium onion, chopped
8 oz tomato paste
1 cup of water
3 tablespoons of chili powder
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
2 tbsp garlic powder
16 oz red beans
8 tbsp nonfat sour cream

Recipe Directions for turkey chili

  1. brown ground turkey in pan, drain fat & set aside

  2. saute chopped onion in pan

  3. return turkey to pan and add beans, pepper, chili powder, garlic powder and paste.

  4. simmer 30 minutes

  5. serve with one tbsp sour cream on top
