Light and tasty, with a touch of sweetness. Use diced tomatoes, and be sure to brown the veggies! Delicious served with cornbread.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Chili

3 tbsp olive oil
1 lb ground turkey
3 cans beans, black, red, and white
3 sweet peppers, red, yellow, and orange
29 oz tomato, fire-roasted (2 cans)
2 cups carrot, sliced
1 zucchini
2 cups sweet corn, thawed
1 sweet potato
1 onion
4 garlic cloves
1 cup barbecue sauce
2 jalapeno peppers
24 oz light beer (2 bottles)
1/4 cup brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Turkey Chili

Brown turkey in oil over med-high heat. Remove from pan. Meanwhile, chop peppers, onion, and garlic. Reduce heat to medium and add to pan. Allow to brown slightly. Add all liquid ingredients and all other ingredients (veggies chopped). Add hot sauce to taste and cheddar cheese to serve.
