Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Chili

2 pounds Poultry food products, ground turkey, raw
16 ounces dry kidney beans
16 ounces dry navy beans
1 large onions, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1 cups tomatoes, peeled and crushed
2 T chili powder
2 t cayenne
2 t black pepper

Recipe Directions for Turkey Chili

  1. Soak beans overnight in water as directed on package. Boil down and reserve the soaking liquid for later.

  2. Over medium heat, brown and crumble the ground turkey.

  3. Add turkey, beans and all other ingredients to slow cooker. Cook on high for 4-5 hours, or on low for 8 to 10 hours, stirring a couple of times if possible.
