Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Chili Mac

4 oz. elbow macaroni, multigrain
1 lb. 99% fat free ground turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
15 oz. rienzi red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
14 1/2 oz stewed tomatoes, chopped and undrained
8 oz. tomato sauce
3 oz. shredded 2% reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Turkey Chili Mac

  1. Cook pasta according to directions, omitting fat and salt. Drain.

  2. While pasta cooks, heat Dutch oven over mediaum-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray; add turkey, onion, and next five ingredients. Cook 7 minutes or until turkey is browned, stirring to crumble.

  3. Add cooked pasta, beans, tomoatoes and tomato sauce. Cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle evenly with cheese
