Cabbage rolls with turkey, green peppers, and tomatoes -- about 265 per serving (3 rolls).

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Cabbage rolls

1 head cabbage
2 green peppers, cut up
1 tbl butter
1 lb ground turkey
5 1/5 g (1 tsp) salt substitute
1/2 tsp pepper
3/4 cup Fit & Active chicken broth
14 1/2 oz (1 can) tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Turkey Cabbage rolls

  1. Boil cabbage. Peel off 12 large leaves and set aside. Chop remaining cabbage.

  2. In large skillet, melt butter; add cabbage pieces, green pepper and onion, and cook about 20 minutes. Combine ground turkey and cooked vegetables in large bowl and mix well.

  3. Make rolls with turkey mix and cooked cabbage leaves. Place in large pan, oven-proof baking dish, or crockpot.

  4. Combine chicken broth and tomatoes and pour over rolls. Cook in oven, on top of stove, or crock pot until well-heated and cabbage is tender. (Oven: 350-degrees, covered for 1 hour - stir gently, recover and cook additional 40 minutes. Stove: bring to boil over medium-high heat, reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 hours. Crockpot: cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-5.)
