The turkey is a healthy substitute for beef.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey burgers

1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 lb ground turkey
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 egg white
1 garlic clove
3/4 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
8 slices white bread
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
4 tbsp sweet pickle relish
4 tbsp light mayonnaise

Recipe Directions for Turkey burgers

Combine turkey, onion, bread crumbs, egg white, and seasonings. Form 4 patties and grill. Top each of 4 slices of bread with 1 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp relish, turkey patty and 1/4 cup cheese.
