Recipe Ingredients for Turkey & Brown Rice Soup

1 onion Yellow Onion
2 medium stalk, raw Celery
2 medium raw Carrots
2 cup Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, Cooked
1 cup Light
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water
8 oz Turkey Breast Meat
2 1tsp Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Turkey & Brown Rice Soup

  1. In a mid-sized pot...

  2. Sautee onions and celery in olive oil until tender & translucent.

  3. Add carrots, broth & water, simmer until carrots are tender when pierced with a fork.

  4. Add turkey & cooked rice.

  5. When heated throughout, add thyme.

  6. Salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
