Low sodium, low fat chili made with turkey breast and loaded with veggies. Add a bag of frozen green beans or a can of pinto beans, drained and rinsed for additional texture and flavor.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Breast Chili

20 oz extra lean ground turkey breast
14 1/2 oz diced tomato
1 can tomato paste
8 oz tomato sauce
14 oz no salt added chicken broth
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, sliced
1 onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped
3 tbsp ground cumin
2 tbsp paprika

Recipe Directions for Turkey Breast Chili

  1. Cook bell peppers, onion, and garlic and 2 tbsp broth until vegetables are soft.

  2. Add ground turkey and continue cooking.

  3. When turkey is cooked through, add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and remaining broth.

  4. Add spices, mix and simmer 30 minutes
