Recipe Ingredients for Turkey-Biscuit Pot Pie

1 cup Bisquick Original
2 cup Chicken Broth
22.5 grams Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
4 pan fried slices Hickory Smoked Bacon
2 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Beans, Snap, Green
1.5 cup Corn, Sweet, Yellow
2 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
1 cup slices Carrots
3 tbsp Butter
2 cup, chopped or diced Turkey, All Classes, Meat Only
1 cup, chopped Onions
0.5 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat

Recipe Directions for Turkey-Biscuit Pot Pie

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. In a 2-qt saucepan, heat 1 cup water to boiling. Add all veggies (except onion); cook about 4 minutes or until veggies are crisp-tender. Drain.

  2. Meanwhile, in a 3-qt saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion; cook about 2 min, stirring occasionally, until tender. Beat in flour with a wire whisk. Gradually beat in broth. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens. Stir veggies and turkey into sauce. Spoon turkey mixutre into ungreased 2-qt casserole.

  3. Place bacon on microwaveable plate; cover with paper towel. Microwave on High 4-6 min or until crisp. Crumble bacon; place in medium bowl. Add remaining biscuit ingredients (bisquick, milk, cheese); stir just until blended. Spoon biscuit batter around edge of turkey mixture.

  4. Bake 25-30 min or until biscuit crust is golden brown.
