Lower Calorie, but very moist. I always add salt & pepper and garlic... then I vary the other spices/herbs according to what I am in the mood for... such as cilantro & lime... rosemary, thyme & sage... or cumin & smoked paprika...

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey/Beef Veggie Meatloaf

6 oz Ground Turkey Breast, 99% Fat-free
1 cup, chopped Onions
6 oz Beef, Ground, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat, Crumbles
6 tablespoon Poblano Pepper
1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
1 cup, chopped(124 g) Squash, Summer, Zucchini, Includes Skin
1/2 cup Ketchup
1 large Egg, Whole
1/4 cup Bread Crumbs Italian Style

Recipe Directions for Turkey/Beef Veggie Meatloaf

  1. combine meat, beaten egg, bread crumbs & 1/2 of ketchup

  2. sautee veggies in a non-stick pan with spray oil

  3. cool veggies then combine with the meat...

  4. Add your favorite combination of spices

  5. Shape free form in a loaf on a cookie sheet

  6. Cook 375 approximately 1 hour - 1 hr. 30 minutes until done

  7. Combine with either a turnip/potato mash or cauliflower/potato mash (Excellent and very filling)
