Originally in Simple and Delicious magazine. I changed it slightly to make it healthier.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Bean Soup

29 ounce tomato puree
14 1/2 ounce diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup water
1 cup beef broth
4 1/2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon dried basil
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
3/4 cup uncooked macaroni
1 cup cooked turkey
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 teaspoon instant minced garlic
16 ounce kidney beans , rinsed & drained
15 1/2 ounce black beans , rinsed & drained

Recipe Directions for Turkey Bean Soup

  1. In Dutch oven, combine the first eight ingredients. Bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 10-15 minutes or until macaroni is tender.

  2. Meanwhile, in large skillet, cook celery, onion & garlic over medium heat until vegetables are tender. Add vegetables and turkey to the tomato mixture. Stir in beans, heat through.
