Turkey is simmered in herbs and then broiled with an agave glaze.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey: Agave Glazed Turkey Breast

7 1/5 oz onion
4 1/5 oz celery
3 4/5 carrot
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp,+crumbled bay leaf
2 cups water
1 9/10 lbs raw turkey breast, skinless
5 serving Wholesome Sweetners Organic Blue Agave syrup
1 serving 365 Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth

Recipe Directions for Turkey: Agave Glazed Turkey Breast

  1. Combine onion, celery carrot, parsley, salt, pepper, rosemary, bay leaf, chicken broth and water in pot.

  2. Bring to a boil

  3. Add turkey and cover.

  4. Simmer 30 min or until turkey is tender

  5. Remove turkey from broth.

  6. Place skin side up in a large shallow baking pan. (Broth and vegetables can be saved and used for other recipes)

  7. Brush turkey with half of the agave.

  8. Broil 4 inches from heat source for 2 min.

  9. Brush again with agave and broil 1 to 2 min longer

  10. Brush with more agave and broil until turkey is glazed and golden brown

  11. Remove turkey from broiler.
