Tuna steak, grilled on Foreman grill with ginger, scallion, garlic, shitake, orange juice, cliantro, soy sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Steak with shitake sauce

3 oz Tuna, Yellowfin, Fresh
1/4 tbsp Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
1/4 cup chopped Scallions
1 cloves, raw Garlic
3.53 oz Mushrooms Shiitake
1/4 fl oz Soup, Chicken Broth
4 fl oz Orange Juice Calcium Vitamin D
0.53 oz Soy Sauce
6 grams Cilantro
3/4 tsp Ginger Root

Recipe Directions for Tuna Steak with shitake sauce

  1. Rub fresh tuna steak with 3/4 tsp lemon juice; salt and pepper to taste and set aside.

  2. Prepare: 1/4 cup scallions, chopped, 3/4 tsp fresh ginger root, minced, 1 garlic clove, minced, 1/2 shitake mushrooms, thickly sliced, 3/4 tsp chicken broth, 1/4 cup orange juice, 1 1/2 tsps soy sauce, 1 1/2 tsp cilantro, chopped.

  3. Heat Foreman grill, then put tuna on when hot. Cook tuna 3-4 minutes to medium. Do not over cook!

  4. While tuna cooks, saute scallions, ginger, garlic, mushrooms in small skillet sprayed with Pam for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly over medium heat.

  5. Add orange juice and cook for another 2 minutes, then add chicken broth, soy sauce and cilantro. Remove from heat and pour over finished tuna steak. Or pour on plate and put tuna on top.

  6. Serve with jasmine rice and desired vegetable.
