Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Salad (Basic)

6 oz albacore tuna
1 egg, hard-boiled
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp yellow mustard
2 tbsp chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Tuna Salad (Basic)

  1. Drain, rinse, and drain tuna until water runs fairly clear. Put in bowl and use fork to break tuna apart. Add onion, celery, and chopped egg and toss. Add mayo, mustard, salt, and pepper and combine.

  2. Serve with sliced tomato on a bed of lettuce, on wheat bread/flatbread, in a wrap, or with whole wheat crackers for a healthy meal.
