Quite good and very healthy. Add more of the spices for more distinct flavor. I'd like some red pepper flakes.

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna-pasta casserole, AHA

8 ounces dried pasta
1 teaspoon corn oil
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic
12 ounces canned tuna in water
1/2 cup carrot, finely chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup parsley
1/4 teaspoon paprika
8 ounces cottage cheese, fat free
1/2 cup sour cream, fat free
1/2 cup yogurt, fat free
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs,
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe Directions for Tuna-pasta casserole, AHA

  1. Prepare pasta according to directions.

  2. Preheat oven to 350. Spray 11 x 9 x 2 inch casserole dish with cooking spray.

  3. In non-stick skillet, heat oil. Cook oniona dn garlic for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.

  4. In large bowl, stir together the onion mixture, tuna, carrot, bell pepper, parsley, and paprika.

  5. In small bowl, stir together cottage cheese, cour cream, yogurt. Stir with pasta into tuna mixture. Spoon into casserole dish.

  6. In small bowl, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan. Sprinkle over casserole.

  7. Bake for 30-45 minutes, or until top is lightly browned.
