fast and simple - nutrition facts are for tuna packed in oil though I use tuna packed in water

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Noodle Toss

12 oz pasta, dried, whole wheat
3/4 c frozen peas
1/2 c mayonnaise
1/2 c fat-free sour cream
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp salt or 1 tsp Season-All Seasoned Salt (pref)
1/2 tsp dried dill weed
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 c red onion, minced
12 oz tuna, light, canned in water, drained

Recipe Directions for Tuna Noodle Toss

  1. Pour frozen peas into collander where pasta will be drained. Prepare pasta according to directions. When pasta is al dente pour into collander over peas (the hot water and pasta will cook the frozen peas).

  2. Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, seasoned salt, dill weed and sugar in a large bowl. After pasta and peas have cooled slightly add them, along with the tuna and onion, to the mayonnaise mixture and toss to combine. Taste for seasoning.
