Tuna Noodle Casserole with a homemade cheese sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Noodle Casserole

12 oz Elbow Macaroni
4 tbsp Salted Butter
2 cup ChefStyle Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese
12 oz Peas, Green
4 pouch StarKist Chunk Light Tuna Flavor Fresh Pouch In Water
1 cup Whole Milk

Recipe Directions for Tuna Noodle Casserole

  1. Boil Macaroni in Salted Water

  2. Melt 1/4 cup of butter and add 2 TBS of flour

  3. Pour 1 cup of milk into melted butter and flour mixture and wait for it to boil

  4. Once boiling, add 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese and whisk until melted

  5. Remove cheese sauce from heat and add tuna and peas, stirring until combined

  6. Drain macaroni noodles and combine with cheese, tuna and peas

  7. Pour into a casserole dish and top with remaining cheese

  8. Bake in oven at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
