Quick and easy. Filling and the kids don't seem to mind it either.

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Noodle Casserole

3 tbsp of butter
3 tbsp of flour
2 cups of milk
3/4 cup low fat cheddar cheese
1 can of tuna
4 oz of elbow macaroni
3 tbsp of parsley
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
2 tbsp of butter

Recipe Directions for Tuna Noodle Casserole

  1. In a heavy sauce pan, over low heat, melt the butter, stir in flour, cook, stirring constantly for 1 min.

  2. Whisk in the milk and cook, stirring constantly for 4-5 mins or until the sauce simmers and becomes smooth and thick

  3. Add the cheese and stir until just melted.

  4. In large bowl, combine tuna, parsley, and cheese sauce. Toss together.

  5. Spoon lightly into casserole. Top with buttered bread crumbs.

  6. Bake for 20-30mins or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve very hot.
