Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Mornay Bake

4 cup Pasta, Spiral
410 grams Chunk Light Tuna in Spring Water
30 grams Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1 tbsp Butter
500 grams TRUTASTE Skim Milk Lactose Free
1/4 tsp Salt, Table
3 sprigs Parsley
1 cup Corn, Sweet, Yellow
2 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese

Recipe Directions for Tuna Mornay Bake

  1. Place pasta and frozen veges in a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta till al dente.

  2. While pasta is cooking melt butter in another pot add flour to melted butter and mix together to form a roux,

  3. Allow to cook slightly without burning, remove from heat,

  4. stir in milk with a whisk ensuring there are no lumps.

  5. Whisk in tuna including juice,

  6. If sauce consistency is too thick add small amounts of milk until desired consistency is achieved.

  7. Add 1 cup of grated cheese to sauce along with salt and parsley stir well.

  8. Drain pasta and veges place in a casserole dish pour tuna sauce over the top.

  9. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top, grill or place in oven till cheese is melted.
