Tuna Melts that are a healthy option compared to our old version

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Melts

1.5 cup Tuna
13 g Real Mayonnaise
0.2 pancakes Buttermilk Pancake Mix
3 serving Daves Killer Bread
0.5 tsp Chopped Garlic
1 oz Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Recipe Directions for Tuna Melts

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Shred the Cheese

  3. Open the 2 cans of tuna (7oz each) place in bowl including water it is packed in.

  4. Stir in garlic, 1 TBS mayonnaise, pancake mix and ground pepper.

  5. Place 3 slices of bread on a stoneware pan top with 1/3 of the tuna mix on each slice.

  6. Top each with 1/3 of the cheese.

  7. Bake for 15 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
