A delicious, lighter unexpected tuna casserole

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna casserole

2 cups noodles
1 can tuna
3/4 cup fat free evaporated milk
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp dill
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 cup 2% cheese
1 cup green beans
1 cup onion
1/4 cup light miracle whip
3/4 cup water

Recipe Directions for Tuna casserole

  1. cook about 2 cups noodles to make between 2 1/2 and 3 cups cooked noodles

  2. place vegetables and seasonings in a pot, simmer with about 1/4 cup water for about 5 minutes

  3. mix flour (can substitute cornstarch),milk and 3/4 cup water in a bowl

  4. add milk mixture to vegetables and cook for about 3 minutes until thickened

  5. pour noodles into a greased 2 1/2 quart baking dish

  6. add tuna to vegetable mixture and mix thoroughly

  7. pour tuna veggie mixture over noodles

  8. mix to coat

  9. pop in pre-heated oven and cook at 350 for about 25 minutes, then ENJOY!
