This is one of my family's recipe. It's not really healthy but it's delicious and it's a good opportunity to make kids eat tuna when they don't like fish.

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Casserole

335 g of penne
184 g Clover Leaf white solid tuna in water
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1 cup Knorr white sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp celery salt

Recipe Directions for Tuna Casserole

  1. In boiling water cook the penne until they are al dente.

  2. In a sauce pan, cook the Knorr white sauce according to the instructions on the package.

  3. When the sauce is boiling, add the tuna WITH the water its in.

  4. Stir until the tuna is in smaller chunks.

  5. Add the cheddar cheese and cook until it melts.

  6. Add the garlic powder and celery salt.

  7. Mix the penne with the sauce and serve.

  8. You can optionally put the dish in the oven at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes. If you do this the sauce gets in the pasta a little more so the dish is less saucy.
