Dad thinks this is a lot like Mom's recipe, but actually there is very little the same; tuna and noodles are about it.

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Casserol

12 oz egg noodles
21 oz Tuna, Light, Canned In Water, Drained Solids
12 oz nonfat yogurt
1/2 c lowfat buttermilk
1/4 c diced celery
1/4 c diced onion
1 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 c bread crumbs
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese
2 tbs olive oil

Recipe Directions for Tuna Casserol

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cook noodles as directed on package. Drain and place in an ungreased casserol.

  3. Mix yogurt, buttermilk, celery, onion, herbs, pepper in a bowl. Fold into the noodles.

  4. Mix bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, and olive oil. Sprinkle over top of noodle mixture and bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes.
