Tuna burgers. I did not include buns: I use multi-grain sandwich thins. You'll have to log whatever type bread or bun you use separately from this recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Burgers

2 tablespoon Olive Oil Mayonnaise
2 oz Olive Oil Mayonnaise
6 tsp Dijon Mustard Organic
3 tablespoons Egg Whites
2 can (2.8oz) Starkist Solid White Albacore Tuna in water
1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
4 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
6 inner+leaf Romaine
8 slice, medium (1/4" thick) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 oz Onion Red

Recipe Directions for Tuna Burgers

  1. Mix 2 Tbls mayo, mustard, and egg white. Add tuna (drained), 1/4 cup of the bread crumbs, and chopped green onions.

  2. Mix well and form into 4 patties. Press the remaining 1/4 cup crumbs into both sides of all patties, to coat lightly.

  3. Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium high heat. Cook patties until lightly browned and heated through, about 3 minutes per side.

  4. Spread remaining 1/4 cup mayo evenly on sandwich thins; build sandwiches with patty, tomato slices, onion and lettuce.
