Tuna Burgers Recipe

Adapted from John Berardi's Gourmet Nutrition for my food allergies and personal logging convenience.

Recipe Ingredients for Tuna Burgers

1 can tuna in water, drained
1 omega-3 egg
2 tbsp flaxseed meal
1 green onion, minced
1/2 tsp soy sauce, wheat-free tamari, or Bragg's
1 tsp olive oil
1 pinch garlic powder
1 salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Tuna Burgers

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Form into two patties.

  2. Spray a skillet with nonstick spray and heat over medium-high heat. Cook for 5 minutes per side.

  3. Serve on a bed of greens with a dab of hummus.
