Crab cakes concept but with a twist for those that are not a fan of crab or salmon. Can substitute any fish desired. Tastes amazing with low fat tartar sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Trout Cakes

8 oz trout fillet
1/4 cup celery
1/4 cup red onion
1 egg
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1 tbs mayonaise
1 tbs dijon mustard
1 pinch of pepper
1/2 tsp fresh dill

Recipe Directions for Trout Cakes

Finely chop veggies, add fish chopped, egg, mayo pepper, dill and mustard. Mix together, slowly add bread crumbs. The mixture should be wet but hold together when shapped into balls. Drop balls in a non stick skillet (if you would like feel free to add a little olive oil). Press down balls into patties in the pan and cook until golden on each side. Make sure that the first side is nice and golden before flipping so that the patties don't fall apart.
