Recipe Ingredients for Tropical Protein Smoothie

1/2 serving Banana, with proper nutrition data, Medium
1 serving Light Soymilk, Nature's Place Organic, Plain
1 scoop 100% Whey Protein
1/4 cup Pineapple Juice 100% Juice
1/2 cup Fresh Frozen Mango Chunks
1 tsp Orange Peel

Recipe Directions for Tropical Protein Smoothie

  1. Pour 1 cup Light Soymilk in a blender. Add 1 scoop vanilla Protein Whey Powder. Add 1/4 cup pineapple juice.

  2. Blend. Add 1/2 of a banana (frozen slices). Blend.

  3. Add 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks, one at a time, pulsing between additions.

  4. For a thicker shake, add about 1/2 cup of crushed ice. Blend.

  5. Pour and enjoy. Makes 2 large servings.

  6. I log as a meal and sip throughout the afternoon.

  7. NOTE: Calories and other nutrients vary greatly depending on the protein powder you select.

  8. You can substitute any sort of milk you like, but the nutritional values will change. Coconut milk would be yummy.

  9. You could also pop in a few frozen strawberries.

  10. Try adding some fresh mint or basil as another layer of flavor.
