Tasty breakfast pancakes with substance

Recipe Ingredients for Trailside Multigrain Pancakes

2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups buttermilk
2 eggs
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup raisins

Recipe Directions for Trailside Multigrain Pancakes

Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients. Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients and add seeds and raisins. Stir until well mixed. Let stand until thick. Cook on a 350 degree griddle sprayed with non-stick spray until edges are firm, turn, finish cooking. Serve hot with apple butter, almond butter, maple syrup or whatever you like.
