2 lb ground lamb
24 oz frozen vegetables
1 lb potato
2 tbsp skim milk
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup flour
16 oz low sodium beef broth
1 tsp thyme

Recipe Directions for Traditional Shepherd's Pie

  1. Brown lamb in skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

  3. Remove pan from heat and add beef broth and thyme.

  4. Bring to boil and cook until sauce thickens.

  5. When done, add frozen vegetables and stir until well mixed.
