Delicious black beans perfect over rice

Recipe Ingredients for traditional black beans

1 tblsp olive oil
3/4 cup onion, chopped fine
1/2 cup green pepper
1 cup tomatoes, diced
15 oz black beans
1/2 tsp garlic salt
3 tblsp cider vinegar
1/2 tsp hot sauce

Recipe Directions for traditional black beans

In large skillet, heat olive oil. Cook onion and green pepper until tender. Stir in tomatoes, beans, thyme ad garlic salt, and cook 3 minutes. Add vinegar, pepper sauce, and reserved juice, and continue to cook 5 minutes, Serve over rice.
